• Oct. 13th, 4-7pm - Monster Monday - Come create a monstrously good art project with staff from the Pablo Center’s ARTmobile, or participate in a robotics demonstration led by the Leviathans. Join Wisconsin Master Naturalist and Bat Ambassador Heather Mishefske at 4:30 or 6:00 pm for a special program inside the CVM “Bat Cave!” Have supper catered by Toppers Pizza, served from 5:15-5:45 pm while supplies last. Play a round or two of SuperHero bingo for prizes with Bat Man as your free space, and make your own Bat Signal.

• Oct. 14th, 6-7pm - Allegedly Collectable owner Chris McHugh will talk about his passion for collecting and give you tips on developing your own personal museum.

Enjoy special Superhero inspired Storytimes at 4:30 or 6:00 pm with the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library and check out a fun read from the Book Mobile! Have supper catered by Toppers Pizza, served from 5:15-5:45 pm while supplies last. Celebrate literacy as your superpower by making a fancy bookmark to take home, or build your own unique monster, superhero, or villain out of Legos for display at the museum.

• Nov. 15th, 2pm: Curator & Collector Presentation - in depth insights and nuance on what's in the gallery, their creators, and their cultural context.


• Dec. 8th, 4-7pm: Monster Monday - Come create a monstrously good art project with staff from the Pablo Center’s ARTmobile, or participate in a robotics demonstration led by the Leviathans. Hum along to popular movie soundtracks or holiday classics both old and new during our Pop Up Concerts at 4:30 and 6:00 pm (Musical Groups TBA). Have supper catered by Toppers Pizza, served from 5:15-5:45 pm while supplies last. Get your photo taken with Spiderman! Also look for special guest appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

It features items from David Barnhill’s personal collection – estimated to contain over 200,000 items. Explore how monsters, superheroes, and villains impact American culture from the 1960s to the 1990s. You'll get to know how they became iconic characters reflecting America’s changing values and social tensions while immersing yourself in the role these iconic characters play in our culture over the past 8 decades.
