A Missing Deed          Mystery Illnesses        Winter Tales       Exhibit Closing

Eau Claire, Wisconsin—As winter approaches, join us for warm and cozy programs at the Chippewa Valley Museum and Schlegelmilch House

November 29, 2024-January 4, 2025, Clause for Concern: The Case of the Missing Deed
It's Christmas Eve, and your family has gathered at your great-grandmother's grand estate for the reading of her last will and testament. However, great-grandma enjoyed playing games. The grand estate will go to the person who finds the deed she mischievously hid, and you have only 60 minutes to locate it.

Tactical Escape has generously shared proceeds from their Schlegelmilch Escape Rooms with the Chippewa Valley Museum for several years. Director Carrie Ronnander is thankful that "Tactical Escape 101 always creates clever and fun escape rooms for the Schlegelmilch House. They installed their first Halloween escape room at the house in 2016 and expanded to the winter holidays in 2021. It's really quite remarkable how different they've all been. Thank goodness Chippewa Valley Museum did not have to race against the clock to become owners of this beautiful 1871 historic house in downtown Eau Claire."

Location: Historic Schlegelmilch House, 517 S. Farwell Street. Cost: $140, 2-4 players, $40 each additional player up to 12 max. Reservations required. Bookings available Wednesday - Sunday, November 29, 2024 - January 4, 2025. For questions contact Tactical Escape 101, 715-418-0012. For reservations and escape room details, visit tacticalescape101.com.

History Quest Closing
Get ready for a brand-new, activity-filled children’s exhibit in 2025! Our current exhibit, History Quest, is closing. In its place will be History Heroes, a brand-new exhibit designed to help all of us save the past. Opening in Spring 2025, History Heroes will turn everyday children and their adults into treasure hunters, memory keepers, and time travelers. But that’s in the Spring. Stop by before November 25 for one last visit to History Quest.
