Silk Scarf Dyeing Classes
Posted: February 11, 2014
Join us for Fool-Proof Silk Scarf Dyeing classes on Saturday, April 5 - just in time for Mother's Day gift making!
Participants can learn how much fun it is to dye a silk scarf using instant dyes with instructor Jane Foos, textile artist. No experience is necessary, and all project supplies are provided. Jane's beginner-friendly process does not use toxic chemicals, steam setting, gloves, or aprons.
Each participant will complete the dyeing process during a 2-hour session, and will leave the class with a completed, ready-to-wear scarf! The resulting scarf will have a translucent, shimmering look.
Personalized hand-dyed silk scarves make great Mother's Day gifts, and the class makes for a wonderful mother-daughter-grandmother experience!
Participants choose one of two sessions: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, or 1:00-3:00 pm.
Cost is $30 for CVM members, $35 for non-members. Cost includes one scarf; additional scarves are $25 each.
Contact Liz Reuter at 715-834-7871 for more information or to register by Monday, March 17.
