National History Day Kick-Off

The Chippewa Valley Museum will be hosting an open house on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm for students and their families and teachers in support of a new year of National History Day projects and competition.
Drop in for History Adventures featuring the 2016 theme, "Exploration, Encounter, Exchange in History." This year's keynote speaker will be B.J. Hollars, local author and Assistant Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Get ideas, free resources and refreshments, and sign up for many fun door prizes! Start your research early by touring CVM's library & archives. Then investigate our history kit collection, containing over 25 fascinating choices, each overflowing with authentic documents, artifacts, and visual inventory guides.
